Craig Thomas Parsons
Software Developer • Systems Builder • Game Developer

I build systems that help people build better software.

My work focuses on automation, developer tooling, and experimental software systems. Many of my projects explore how AI agents, pipelines, and structured workflows can transform the way software is created.

This website is both a portfolio and a workbench — a place where I share the tools, experiments, and systems I’m building.

What I’m Working On

The Factory Workbench

The Factory Workbench is an experimental development environment where software projects are designed, built, and tested through structured pipelines.

It explores ideas like:

• automated project planning
• AI-assisted development agents
• reproducible development workflows
• self-hosted developer infrastructure

The goal is simple: make software development more structured, transparent, and scalable.

Portfolio Projects

Some of the systems I’m currently building include:

Factory Workbench
A system for generating and managing software projects through automated pipelines.

Projects.elasticgun.com
A Lean-Inception inspired planning environment used to design projects and organize development work.

WordPress-in-Laravel Blog Platform
A decoupled blog architecture where WordPress manages content and Laravel renders the site.

Agile Medieval Peasant Board
A playful experiment exploring task management through the metaphor of a medieval village workforce.

My Approach

I enjoy working at the intersection of:

• software architecture
• developer tooling
• automation
• experimental systems

Many of my projects start as small experiments and evolve into tools that help structure complex development workflows.

About This Site

This website is built using Laravel and is part of a larger ecosystem of tools I’m developing. Rather than being a static portfolio, it acts as a live demonstration environment for many of the ideas I’m exploring.
